In 2022, she was seen in role of a A.I robot character in movie M3GAN. The film became very popular due to her impressive and creepy dance moves. Amie is an international dancer who represented her country at the age of 9 in the Dance World Cup, where she won a silver medal in jazz dance and a bronze medal in Contemporary dance. She began her training at the Norris Dance Studios in Papakura, Auckland at the age of 6 under the guidance of Kylie Norris. Kylie Norris also collaborated with Amie on the M3GAN dance scene filmed in Auckland, New Zealand.

Amie Donald is the daughter of Miles and Roisheen Donald. She is the youngest member of the family. Her Instagram account is managed by her mother. She also has an older brother, Campbell Donald, who is a rugby player for the Karaka under 13 White team.
